NEW YORK – Guggenheim Partners, a global investment and advisory firm with more than $240 billion* in assets under management, announced today that it has named Gerald Donini and Mark Van Lith as Co-Chief Executive Officers of Guggenheim Securities, expanding the leadership in its investment banking and capital markets business.

“Guggenheim Securities has grown rapidly and, in a relatively short time, established itself as a trusted advisor to businesses worldwide,” said Alan Schwartz, Executive Chairman of Guggenheim Partners and Chairman of Securities. “Jerry’s and Mark’s shared client focus, their ability to collaborate productively, and their long track records of delivering results will allow us to build on the success of recent years and extend our growth for many more to come.”

Mr. Van Lith joined Guggenheim in October 2009 from J.P. Morgan, where he served as Co-Head of Media Investment Banking. Prior to that, he served as Head of Media Investment Banking at Bear Stearns.

“We are excited to guide Guggenheim Securities through its next period of growth,” said Messrs.
