Guggenheim Securities Hires Cory Wishengrad to Broaden its Structured Products Capabilities

NEW YORK – Guggenheim Securities, the investment banking and capital markets division of Guggenheim Partners, today announced the hiring of Cory Wishengrad as a senior managing director. Mr. Wishengrad will focus on further developing the firm’s capabilities in asset-backed securities. He will join Guggenheim Securities in February.

“We are pleased to welcome Cory to our team,” said Alan Schwartz, executive chairman of Guggenheim Securities. “His expertise in asset-backed financing will help us take our structured products business to the next level in serving our clients.”

Wentworth. Mr. Wishengrad joined Barclays from Lehman Brothers, which he joined in 1999 and where at the time of Barclays’ acquisition of Lehman he led the Esoteric Asset-Backed Securities group.
